Drawn to the various elements of composition, I found both the rhythm of form and the sense of the chaotic irresistible. Indian Hellebore is an herbaceous perennial plant that is extremely toxic. It contains numerous toxic alkaloids and all parts of the plant are toxic – capable of producing poisoning and even death. The leaves are broad, oblong to elliptic, and ribbed making them favourite subjects for photographers.
