Native Petroglyph

There is a lush entangled rainforest near Bella Coola where one can enter the ancient ceremonial world of the Nuxalk Nations – a site with over 100 rock carvings. According to anthropologists, this remote location was known only to the Chiefly, Noble and Supernatural Secret Societies. For 10,000 years they kept their spirit power and dealt with supernatural matters here. Petroglyphs are formed by tracing a pattern over and over with a stone.
