The experience of paddling the Bowron Lake circuit over 100 times has become for me one single journey, a three-pronged adventure of physical experience, visual exploration and inner discovery. On this journey, Unna Lake is a contemplative body of water, a charmed place to relax and explore both outer and inner landscapes. I made this panorama on a solo trip, on which I spent three meditative days at Unna. As the Irish poet John O’Donohue wrote, “Stillness and solitude can be wonderful gifts and great resources for you.”
